The 13th International Conference on Antennas & Electromagnetic Systems takes place at the War Museum of Athens, Athens, Greece, March 16–19, 2027. AES invites original contributions addressing advances in antennas, electromagnetic theory and computation, metamaterials and metasurfaces, photonics, RF and microwave technologies, sensing, propagation, and electromagnetic systems.

What to submit
Manuscript length
Contributed papers
Submit an extended abstract or a full contribution of two to four pages, using the official AES 2027 template. Authors choose the length that fits their work: both are reviewed on the same criteria. A contribution should contain:
- a short abstract of 50 words at most;
- a concise description of the motivation and context;
- the principal methods and results;
- figures and references where appropriate;
- enough information for the Technical Programme Committee to assess the scientific contribution.

Invited speakers submit a contribution of at least one page using the same official AES 2027 template, through the same portal. The same deadline applies.
An invitation does not replace submission: every presentation in the programme has a corresponding contribution in the proceedings.

What makes a strong submission
Submissions should make the scientific contribution readily identifiable. Reviewers consider:
Scientific quality
Are the methods, analysis and conclusions scientifically sound?
Originality
Does the contribution present a new result, concept, method or significant advance?
Significance
Is the work relevant to the scope of AES and of potential interest to the antenna and electromagnetic community?
Clarity
Are the motivation, principal results and conclusions clearly presented enough for meaningful technical review?
Before you submit
Prepare two things before opening the submission form.
Your manuscript PDF
Prepare the manuscript using the official AES 2027 template and upload it as a PDF. Contributed papers must be 2–4 pages; invited contributions must be at least one page. No manuscript may exceed four pages.
The information entered in the submission form
Have the following information ready. The portal checks it before accepting your submission.
- An abstract of no more than 50 words.
- Every author who appears on the manuscript, in the order shown on the paper, with their principal institution: the university, research organisation or company only — not the department or faculty. Names and institutions are printed exactly as entered.
- The author who will actually present the paper. The programme is scheduled around the presenting author and the certificate of presentation is issued in their name.
- Your preferred presentation format (oral or poster). This is a preference only and cannot be guaranteed. Invited presentations are limited to one per presenting author.
Review & presentation
All contributed submissions are reviewed by members of the AES Technical Programme Committee. Authors are notified on 3 February 2027. You may state a preference for oral or poster presentation; the preference cannot be guaranteed and is not a ranking of scientific quality.
At least one author must register and present the contribution; one paid registration may cover a maximum of two accepted papers.
Originality and ethics
Submitted work must be original and not under review elsewhere. Contributions are screened for plagiarism and duplicate submission.

Accepted contributions presented at AES 2027 are published in the AES Conference Proceedings, ISSN 2491-2417, indexed in Scopus.
The paper submitted for review is the proceedings contribution: there is no separate final-paper deadline and nothing further to upload after acceptance.
