Registration for AES 2027
Registration opens: announced on this site and by email. The Call for Papers is already open: you can submit before registering. Early rates, through 12 February 2027, are the only preferential rates.

Included: admission to all scientific sessions and tutorials, the coffee breaks and the lunches on the conference days, the exhibition, and electronic access to the program and the proceedings.
Late and on-site registration is intended for non-presenting participants. Presenting authors must complete their registration and payment by 19 February 2027 for their papers to be scheduled in the program.
The conference dinner is not included. Its format, its availability and its price are to be announced.
Whether the amounts include VAT is stated when the tax treatment is confirmed; the amounts above are the registration fees as set by the organisers (21 September 2026).
Who can register
Regular
Researchers and professionals from academia, laboratories and industry. All participants — including invited speakers, session organisers and session chairs — must register and pay the applicable registration fee.
Student
A reduced rate for students, with proof of status from their institution.
Accompanying person
For a person accompanying a registered participant.
An accompanying-person registration must be purchased together with a full registration, and is limited to a family member of the registered participant who is not a co-author of any contribution. It includes access to the exhibition, coffee breaks and lunches; it does not give access to the scientific sessions.
Author registration policy. At least one author of each accepted paper must register and present it. One paid registration may cover a maximum of two accepted papers for which the registrant is a co-author, whether presented orally or as posters. Only accepted papers that are registered and presented are scheduled in the program and included in the proceedings; the registration covering a paper must be paid by 19 February 2027.
AES is a community conference and does not provide financial support to session organisers, session chairs or invited speakers. An invitation carries no automatic fee waiver. An individual arrangement exists only if the organisers have confirmed it in writing. Payment methods, invoice procedure and applicable taxes will be published before registration opens.
Invitation letters. Registered participants and authors of accepted papers who require immigration documentation may request a signed invitation letter after their registration and payment have been confirmed. The procedure is on the visa page.
Cancellation and substitution policy
Refund requests must be received by 12 February 2027
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to contact@aesconference.org. For requests received by 12 February 2027, the registration fee will be refunded less a €65 administrative charge.
After 12 February 2027, registration fees are not refundable. A registered participant who can no longer attend may nominate a substitute to attend in their place at no additional charge by contacting the organisers.
